I’d like to order a bed, sofa or a mattress, what are the delivery charges?

We deliver our goods all over the UK and charges will apply depending on your area. For more information please contact us.

If you live in the immediate area surround Bath and Bristol, we will usually deliver ourselves. If you aren’t local to us, don’t worry we use trusted couriers with experience in furniture delivery to get the goods to you safely.

What are the delivery costs for small or medium items?

If you’d like to purchase small items such as cushions, throws, bed sheets pictures or lamps we’ll send these via our parcel courier for £4.95 per shipment.

All Silcox Son and Wicks medium-sized items such as chairs, mirrors or rugs are sent via parcel courier for £14.95 per shipment.

Click and Collect

If you’d like to pay for your order online and collect it from our Bristol warehouse you can! Please select collection on check out, and we’ll get your order ready for you and notify you of when it’s ready to pick up. We’ll then send you an email with the pick up location and time slot confirmation.

Can you assemble my order?

Yes, if required our install team will install your bed, sofa or any large item. Our team will even clear up all the mess and dispose of all the packaging or wrapping.

  • Build a bed frame £30
  • Assemble a wardrobe £50

For £50 we’ll even take away your old bed or sofa for recycling. Just let us know when you order and we’ll do the rest.

If you’d like your seats stain covered it £25 per seat

If you’d like your seats stain covered for leather it costs £40 per seat.

How soon can you deliver my stuff?

For items that are in stock delivery times vary on what you’ve ordered. Small to medium items can be 3-5 business days if in stock. Large order items that will need to be built can take up to 6-8 weeks to be delivered to your door. We take pride in our handmade products, so it’ll be worth the wait once they’ve arrived.

Ordered multiple items?

At Silcox Son and Wicks we charge our customers per shipment rather than per item as it’s more cost effective to our lovely customers. As an example, if you order a shiny new lamp and a new rug for the living room, but the lamp isn’t in stock. We’ll ship them out to you all together once all the items are in stock or ready to be shipped.

Do you deliver on Saturdays or Sundays?

At this time we only offer a Monday to Friday delivery service. If you need your delivery on a weekend we can arrange a private courier to sort this for you. Please call us on 01225 463 933 for further details.

All our small to medium items are delivered by courier Monday to Friday.

I’m not happy with my product and want to return it.

It’s always a shame to hear that our customers are unhappy with their purchase but sometimes things go wrong and we want to make sure we’re here to help if it does.

If you’ve had something delivered that you’re not happy with for whatever reason, just let us know within seven days of it arriving and we can arrange a refund. Simply send the items back to us in the original packaging and we’ll organise a refund.

I want to cancel my order but it hasn’t arrived yet.

If you don’t want to continue with your order and it hasn’t been dispatched yet we can arrange a full refund.

On order items which are made to your specifications we can arrange a refund and cancel your order as long as the goods haven’t entered the production phase.
